1. What was life like for a Roman Catholic Christian in the early 1500s before the Protestant Reformation?

2. What were some of the corruptions of the Church and its leadership?

3. What was Luther’s perception of God before his conversion? How did he view God?

5. Why would someone describe Luther as a “reluctant revolutionary”? What does this mean?
